What Do We Do?
DMV Debate is an organization to motivate and prepare middle school students for high school debate. In this club your student can expect to learn the basics and foundation for Lincoln-Douglas Debate which is a style of debate focused on the morality/ethics of a topic. Arya Reddy and Laya Wali will be the instructors for the program and are two of the active members of the Lincoln-Douglas Debate team at TJHSST. As the instructors they have advised that all students attending have a notebook and pencil handy for drills/activities they have planned.
